Alumni Talk Inspires Sixth Form Students

NES alumnus Adham Darwish addressed Year 11 and Sixth Form students this morning. His inspiring talk, “The Obstacle is the Way,” encouraged students to pursue their passions while maintaining focus on their schoolwork.

NES Director Delivers Keynote at House of Islamic Art Cultural Season Launch

NES Director Dr. Ziad Tariq Rajab delivered the inaugural lecture for the 30th cultural season of the House of Islamic Art. His presentation, titled "Cultural Exchanges," explored the rich historical and artistic influence between Chinese and Islamic potters, highlighting Kuwait's role in promoting cultural dialogue.

NES Shines Bright at The BSME Music Festival of 2024

Over 120 of our amazing NES musicians showcased their skills in bands, choirs, and orchestras on November 11th. A massive thank you to our dedicated music leaders for their hard work and inspiration! A huge shoutout to our co-host The English School of Kuwait and all the participating schools.

Celebrating NES Class of 2024

The New English School proudly celebrated the graduation of the Class of 2024 in a heartfelt ceremony filled with joy, reflection, and anticipation for the future. Surrounded by family, friends, and staff, our graduates commemorated years of hard work, dedication, and growth. The event was a testament to their achievements and the supportive community that has guided them. NES Young Talent Shines in GCC-wide Innovation Contest

Year 3 student Amal Al Shami recently showcased her creativity at a GCC-wide competition in Kuwait. Organised by the University of Kuwait in partnership with "The Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf," the event aimed to recognise innovative projects from schools across the region. Amal's project earned her the prestigious title of third-best innovative project in Kuwait, a testament to her creativity and problem-solving skills at a young age.

Congratulations to Amal on her remarkable achievement, and we look forward to witnessing her continued growth and success!

Year 7 Leaders Guide Year 6 Students Through Transition

At The New English School, leadership and mentorship are valued from an early age. Recently, 14 outstanding Year 7 form captains and vice captains visited our current Year 6 students, offering guidance and reassurance as they prepare for the transition to 'big' school. This initiative aimed to ease any nerves and provide insights into the exciting journey ahead.
