The Infant Department consists of four year groups:

Kindergarten (aged 3.5-4.5)

Reception (aged 4.5 – 5.5)

Year 1 (aged 5.5-6.5)

Year 2 (aged 6.5-7.5)

In each year group there are five classes. All classes are mixed ability there is no streaming or segregating within the Infant Department.

The teachers within each year group meet regularly to coordinate the curriculum and Year group events. Within each year groups there is a Head of Year.
